to the Wintonbury Historical Society's Web Site. This site will feature information about the history of the Town of Bloomfield and the Wintonbury Parish from which it was formed. This site will also endeavor to enlighten you about the historic people and places of Bloomfield and about the exciting research being done by members of the community.

The WHS Bloomfield History Center building has been completed and the Historical Society’s collections will be available by appointment in the History Center for your historical & genealogical research. The History Center is located behind Library_1497_10002 the Old Farm School at the corner of Park and School St.

We would like to have you JOIN the Wintonbury Historical Society and help with the development of our many historical and educational projects.

The original edition was published in 1935 and revised and republished in 1965. After many months of hard work by Ralph & Louise Schmoll and Angela Hauptman the 2011 edition has been published.
It is available for sale at The History Center for $15.
